JUSTICE FOR EBUKA

JUSTICE FOR EBUKA

Ebuka (Pseud) was arrested, and detained for 6 weeks since July 2021 for being in possession of dried leaves suspected to be Indian hemp.

Recall that our legal team visited the Jos and Pankshin Custodial Centres in September 2021. We represented one of the inmates in court on the 7th of Oct. 2021.

Our Legal team in Jos led by K.M. ABDUL HAMEED & M.N. BUTKO  provided legal support for Ebuka, applied that the matter is struck out for want of jurisdiction and that the Defendant be discharged and acquitted.

Our efforts were fruitful and Ebuka has since regained his freedom. He has been given another opportunity to make good use of his life.
